Process Engineer(Thermoset)

Main responsibilities

  1. Develop or modify thermoset process to manufacture new products and meet performance requirements
  2. Support process team to develop the thermoset product trials
  3. Work together with different parties in R&D projects, like product design team, tooling team and so on, to secure the customer’s specification/satisfaction
  4. Compile technical reports and handle related technical documents, like Working Instruction, Lesson Learned and etc
  5. Present trial reports within the project team or publicly

Required qualifications

  1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Composite Engineering, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering (Master degree or above is preferable
  2. At least 2-years-experience in thermosetting composites materials processing (Hands-on working experience in HP-RTM. WCM, C-SMC and PCM is preferable
  3. Have an intermediate to advanced level of practice in controlled processing of thermoset composite materials systems and maintaining & operating the related equipment
  4. Having an advanced understanding in the science and engineering of the composites manufacturing process, reinforcements structure and the performance properties
  5. Having an intermediate level of practice in data management & statistical process control
  6. Having basic skills of AutoCAD and/or CATIA to read the drawing and to analyse the product
  7. Project experience with automotive industry is preferable
  8. Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  9. Project management competence and implementation strength
  10. Sovereign communication at all levels of cooperation Fluent in English (written and spoken), be able to discuss technical issues with foreigners through e-mail and conference call
